We are so close to 9 months now and I just can’t believe it. With each week that passes we begin to see more and more of their personalities. With each week that passes I get more and more nervous about my ability to parent them, if I think about it too long and am completely honest with myself. It is so much responsibility. Already I’m finding myself reminiscing, so to speak, about their first couple of months when they were so tiny. Bryan and I watched a few videos I took then. It’s funny that I hardly remember them ever being that small when they aren’t even that big now!
This week, Miles managed to pull himself up to the activity table with some help while sitting on my lap. Abby stood at the coffee table by herself for a few minutes and can stand at the activity table for a couple minutes as well. I tried to snap a pic of her standing there, one sock in hand and one sock in mouth, but unfortunately (perhaps fortunately for her) she started to fall before I could manage it. Still not much forward movement from her but she’s got the sideways and backwards thing down pat.
I suspect Miles is VERY close to being too long for the bucket seat, and we will find out for sure in about a week. We still use the bucket seats in the stroller frame but its only working now on short trips – they just want to be able to see things and I can’t say I blame them, so we pulled out the big time (and heavy) regular stroller over the weekend in preparation for the big transition to convertible car seats.
Say Cheese!
- Miles tells it like it is

- Abby looks adorable, as usual

- She shows off a new skill

- She debuts her Valentine outfit

- Miles hoards food

- And shows off his feminine side….again

- Finally, its about time for the
baby jailplay yard

I know what you mean, I find I keep reminiscing about when they were tiny, which is funny because it wasn’t that long ago! But there are already things I can’t remember. Also, yay play yard living room!
