There hasn’t been as much time to blog this week because the babies have been clingier than a dryer sheet stuck to a stray sock. Abby has been trying to literally crawl into my lap, which, I’ll admit, is pretty cute. On top of that poor Miles spent all weekend with a fever. A doc visit yesterday confirmed his first ear infection. Poor buddy.
Not too much new otherwise this week. Both babies have discovered the “roll the ball to mom and she will roll it back” game which is kinda fun, and Miles has spent the last two baths trying to stand up in the tub. Abby walks holding onto our fingers but still with quite a bit of help. I’ve put both against the couch to see if they’d try to cruise the furniture, but they just cry because it meant I put them down. 🙂
I’ve started some preliminary first birthday planning and ordered outfits for their pictures scheduled the first weekend in May. We had a couple overnight guests (my good friend Joi and her daughter Rachel) who stopped in on their way to North Carolina so they got to meet the babies for the first time. Oh, and they ate their first baby cookie which Abby now demands be given to her after every meal. She must have a sweet tooth like her mom.
Pictures!
- The days I’m able to use the bathroom alone are limited

- I take Abby solo on a shopping trip (to the very exciting grocery store)

- Friends come to visit and pose for a picture

- Abby enjoys some french fries…er….fruit

- C is for cookie

- We sport matching jams

Aww, I hope the ear infection clears up quickly. Those matching jammies are entirely too cute!

So precious! I sometimes do a one-baby trip to the store, too, and let my husband keep the other twin, and it’s a nice change of pace for everyone. Sometimes I think the kids like the one-on-one time!

I love these posts because it seems like just yesterday we were going through the same things. I hope the separation anxiety is short lived. Can’t say that you’ll ever get to pee alone again though! (sorry! 🙂 )
