Ok, so I’m wondering if Week 40 got lost in the feed somehow – it didn’t get a single “like” until a couple days ago. I’m not in any way trying to sound conceited or anything, but usually they get a few, so just in case there was some kind of mix up, you can read it here.
Abby hit a huge milestone this week – her first word! She says “hi!” and waves. She’s getting better at forward movement when crawling but tends to use mostly her left leg and drag the right resulting in what we call the “stanky leg crawl” (term coined by my friend Megan, whose daughter crawled the exact same way). She also slept through the night for almost the entire week which is a huge record for her. It appears that the bottom two teeth are finally coming in – we can see the outline of them but they still haven’t pushed their way through. Miles is still mostly army crawling, just more quickly.
They’ve eaten less this week. The day care has sent milk home the past 4 days which is really unusual for them. I suspect they may have been fighting a stomach bug after a random vomiting episode (within minutes of each other – that was so much fun), and since it appears Abby is teething it sorta makes sense except its mostly Miles who isn’t drinking his bottles.
I kinda slacked on the photos this week but have a couple short videos in attempt to make up for it.
- Abby sports some shiny shoes
- She has fun with a Pop Tarts wrapper
- Miles strikes a pose
- Abby says hi
- And demonstrates a new, fun way to crawl
