Drat. I swore there was something significant someone did this week, but now that I’ve sat down to write it of course I can’t remember. I’m going to have to start writing things down.
Regardless, it was another big week. By big, I mean eventful. Bryan had a work presentation in Savannah on Monday so we decided to head up and make a weekend out of it. We stayed in the Marriott along the river and were surprised with an awesome upgrade from a regular hotel room to a Junior Suite equipped with a fridge and microwave so would have more room for the babies’ cribs and the ability to prepare and cool their food. Sweeeeet. And it was! We had a living/dining area and sleeping area separated by a wall. Score one for twins!
We branched out a bit and tried giving them a few bites of bread and potato. As usual Abby ate it like I would chow down on chocolate and Miles could kinda take it or leave it. They took their first swim in the hotel pool and met their Savannah grandparents. It was also their first time caught out in the rain (oops). Oh wait! How could I forget THE TOOTH! Miles has his first chomper! Anytime I try to look at it though he immediately closes his mouth and spits a raspberry at me, so I haven’t been able to get a picture of it.
Picture overload (again) time!
- Miles decides what he wants to be when he grows up

- They make their first pillow fort

- They meet their Savannah grandparents

- We get ready to take our first swim

- I take a nice run through the city

- Finally, Miles demands a pre car trip piggy back ride

Truthfully I’m pretty sure I just have good genes. I do some weights but mostly running/cardio. I do have a paper with some ab exercises I did that is meant to help heal diastasis recti which I do think helped. I’d be happy to share that if you’d like!
