I love chocolate, reading, softball, music, sarcasm and staying busy(not necessarily in that order). Many times I lack that filter that people have that keeps them from saying what they are thinking. Oh wait…..

I guess better to start with the basics:

I’m 29 and currently living in Summerville, South Carolina. I grew up in Brunswick, Ohio (famous for nothing – but Cedar Point is nearby and I love roller coasters, so that totally counts) and moved here to Summerville in 2004. I went to college at Miami University (in Ohio, not Florida, much to others’ dismay) and Graduate School at MUSC. Here I am as a graduate “hoodlum”:

I work as a Speech Therapist in a pediatric clinic. Oh the stories. I’m married to my husband, Bryan. Believe it or not, we met on Match.com, and could actually be one of those cheesy commercial success stories.

 I’m a runner and have been for nearly 10 years. I didn’t start out as someone who ran races but as the years went by I’ve run in a few 5 and 10k’s, 3 half marathons and one full marathon – and I got hooked. Marathon training is by far the most taxing. I just finished my second marathon and while I’ll run a few smaller races, will not be training for any long runs any time soon. We will be embarking on our first IVF procedure in April 2012, and am using this blog as  way to maintain my sanity
